Prince of Wales Lodge No. 1705

You may find it useful to just print this page and follow the instructions from the print out. The instructions print out on one A4 page.

The procedure (which is much easier than it looks from the rather long instruction below) is as follows:

1. Visit the Members Only page.                    
2. Click "Sign Up"        
3. Fill in the mini-form which asks for:

• Email address                                      
• Password (select your own password)        
• Retype password                                           
• Display Name (eg Charles Dickens)                 
• Date of Birth (very useful but not absolutely vital)   
• Please uncheck the 'Do not show my age' box, unless you really don't want your age published.  
• Location (Gosport, Fareham, etc)                               
• Gender drop down box (Can't get rid of it!)              

4. Click "Sign Up".                                                  
5. You will then see a message page on our website which tells you an email has been sent to the email address that you provided (the email is generated within a couple of minutes).
6. Go to your email Inbox and open the new email, then click on "Yes, I'd like to join this site".  
7. You will then be redirected back to our website where you will see a message which says, "Account pending approval".
8. Within 48 hours you will be approved and you will receive another email confirming your approval (but only if you are a member of Prince of Wales Lodge No. 1705, so make sure you are using an email address that readily identifies who you are. Otherwise email the webmaster directly to let him know that he can expect a membership request from (e.g.) film.fan@btconnect.tv but that this is really Fred Smith).
9. Return to the Members Only page and you'll see a message which asks you to "Please enter your profile information", this is where you can add a photograph of yourself if you wish and also a quick 'about me' field if you want to fill in any details about yourself. You can either fill in the info or just click "No thanks, skip".                                                                                              
10. Another message will ask if you wish to invite other people to become members. You can invite other Lodge members if you wish and if you think that they might not be getting this email, or as before, just click "No thanks, skip".                                                                                              
11. Your final message will be "Congratulations, you have successfully signed up".
12. That's it.

If you have any problems at any stage of the process, please contact the webmaster and he will endeavour to assist.

Once you have followed all those steps you are a site member and you will be able to log into the members only area by entering your own email address and the password that you selected yourself. You will also be able to interact with other site members.

Apologies to anyone that used to be a member of our site without being a member of the Lodge. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible for us to provide site membership to anyone who is not actually a member of the Lodge.
